Pre-lube Mekong Indochina Hash 2024
TDH3 Runs No 80 and 81, 6-8 November 2024 (Pre-Lube for Mekong Indochina weekend) in Pakse, Laos.
TDH3 Run No 80 Train to Pakse
On Wednesday 6 November at 18:00 we'll meet at Krung Thep Apiwat Station (a.k.a. Bang Sue Grand Station) for registration. We'll then board train 139 to Ubon Ratchathani where we will each have a 2nd class aircon berth. We’ll also have an entertainment cabin connected to the main train so you will be able to party all night if you wish !!!!
Shortly before arriving in Ubon the following morning we will have coffee/tea and light breakfast. When we arrive in Ubon (probably about 07:00) we will take a private bus to the border with Laos at Chong Mek.
On the way to the border we’ll stop to have a run and lunch. After the circle and lunch we will continue to the border. Laos visas obtained online are not accepted at this border post, so you will have to get a 'visa on arrival'. More information about this will be announced later.
We will try to get to Pakse no later than 15:00 though this depends on time taken on the visa on arrival process. However, we will try to discuss with the Laos immigration to speed the process which may involve having to pay extra and may have to send your passport copy upfront.
This train trip will be limited to 40 or 80 or 120 pax, as we have to secure the carriage(s) in advance. Therefore, please book before 30 June. The price is based on 80 pax so will be about USD 120.
This payment covers the train ride with party on board, breakfast, bus ride across the border, run, lunch and t-shirt.
TDH3 Run No 81 Pakse
On Friday 8 November the bus will leave at 09:00 sharp from In Touch Pakse Riverside Hotel to take you to the run.
The run will start at 10:30, Circle at 12:00 and lunch at 13:00
The bus will leave the run site no later than 14:15 as we must be back to Pakse downtown before 16:00 to dress up for Red Dress run at 16:30.
