Message from the Organisers

This is to all you who so much wanted to be with us, to those who wish to see what happened but couldn't.... either because they were not in the port Monday 20th May or because they were too pissed to recall anything this morning.

Thanks to all who took the time to come and join the party. Special thanks much go to all who came from far away. Your presence was much appreciated and ensured a real flash-back to the days gone by.

Three overloaded long-tail boats took us on a 10 minute ride down stream where the A to B run started from the temple pier. It was muddy because of the heavy rain we had earlier in the day - but so what. The checks were plenty and not easy. The FRB's arrived at another pier - the one straight across from the Klong Toey pier - after 50 minutes and the pack of 100 plus were in around 60 minutes or so. The GM and RA took control of the circle and had for the occasion brought in the double sink which was quickly loaded with fine square ice cubes.

The spirit was high and harriers as well as harriettes gladly took their turn on the ice. At 8 PM the crowd quickly dispersed and motored off to cold beer at the Sea Dragon where the food was ready. A few songs, a few awards and the DJ spinned his cd's. Midnight arrived and most flew off to other entertainment places. And we have started counting the next 1000.
