Lean and Hungry
This was a live hare run, Joylide arrived at the run site at 5:05 pm begging for a co-hare to volunteer who was fast. TQ, being the gentleman that he is, quickly dropped his case of champagne and rose to the occasion and went off into the Bush with the Hare.
It was another great run, beginning on the dirt track going through the bushes and past the zoo, breaking a bridge over the canal, with several hashers sinking thigh high in slime. There were enough checks and false trails to confuse the runners. Capt. Erik couldn’t go too far as he came with a bicycle and drank his well deserved down down in the Circle.
Ajarn Khee Mau came late, dressed in proper clothing and tie , his excuse for being late was Christmas shopping at SOGO…… Because of breaking Hash Dress Code he was not allowed to perform his duties as Religious Advisor. And we suffered the abuse from Joost who stood in RA’s shoes.
Nice to have visitors ……..Mr.&Mrs…… with their kid from India, spending a few days in Thailand on Vacation. Mrs. was a seasoned hasher, hubby was a virgin.
Prick of the Week went to the couple that always stays together, Raincoat and Limbo, who can’t live without each other; Limbo only coming on the run when his friend is in town. Too bad this time ”Prick of The Week“ was broken without the equipment that the couple was very willing to share.
The circle included all the champagne we could drink, thanks to Baby Liana – congratulations TQ. ON ON ON was at the run site and we managed to have a wonderful meal in spite of Crash Daly not arriving with the meat for the barbeque. Second time Nearest and Dearest arrived with everything to make a barbeque but no food! Thanks to the Hare and Co Hare and to those who prepared food.

On Monday 16 December 2002 we had 20 Harriers, 7 Harriettes, 0 new boots and 4 visitors, total = 31. Returners included Piya "Lean & Hungry" , Joost "Hashendale" Zwager, Lem "No Good Boyo" Morgan, Don "Limbo" Lavoie, Martin "Carlos the Sex Tourist" Clifford, Andy Grob, Faisel "Clonel Khadfafi" Mookerdum, Captain Eric and Bob "Raincoat" Rayner.
