RUN NO. 1031 - HARES: COOL & LEAN AND HUNGRY
23 DECEMBER 2002SONG AND DANCE RESTAURANT was the venue of choice for birthday boy Vichai "Cool". Just the name of the place should have put even the meanest hasher into a good mood. After setting a perfect run, and arranging a hotel suite for the female hashers to bathe in, the circle began with a down down to the hares. Lovebirds Subhuman and Joylide were called in for making such a spectacle of themselves, they kept squeezing each other to make sure they were really together. Prick of the Week went to the great gal from Kosovo. Special attention for coming from somewhere "different."
The ON ON ON was thoroughly enjoyed by all, inside a lovely decorated restaurant that was much higher standard than the usual hash venue, but very appropriate considering the holiday season. Dinner included a stuffed turkey, plentiful red wine, birthday cake, and excellent musicians that entertained us until the hashers took over the karaoke machine. Demonstrating great talent was Khun Nid, whose song brought on a great round of applause. From then on the pack was fighting over the microphone, all anxious to demonstrate their genetically superior vocal cords.
A good night to remember and many thanks to the hares for all the effort . . . .
On Monday 23 December we had 18 Harriers, 7 Harriettes, 0 new boots and 1 visitors Total = 26. Returners included Dale Fosnight, Pam "Twin Peaks" Carter, Paul "Kick Boxer Katoey" Loke, Chris "Bushman" Schulz, George " Subhuman" Bevington, Vichai "Cool" Pechardko, and Tom "Man Called Horse" Sorensen.
