A sad evening as it was my last hashing in Bangkok this trip, I return to Hawaii to be disposed as the RA of the Aloha H3 in our annual erections this Saturday next.  But I digress. A huge Monday night crowd gathered at the Port socializing and enjoying the evening. Soon the hares called us to a circle where they described the run, and we soon found out that the lazy hares of the Hags family had taken advantage of the previous week's harriettes run and merely remarked the trail with orange paper. Off we went to ferry across the water (on this occasion at least Ms Hags had arranged a boat that did not sink under us); and then we were off down the road finally finding a turn off to the right after a false trail to the left. Flying Finn and Allistar led the pack as we charged down the endless concrete walkways.

Amazingly enough, and in spite of paper from two runs, the speedy Allistar lost his way and returned to the Port only after the rest of us were well into the circle. It seems that visiting hasher Urine also became lost in the woods. He must have failed to impress Tim Daly, who on the previous Wednesday run had rescued him and brought him on home early; on this Monday run, she left him alone with Stumbles in the jungle. Of course the minority view was that Urine preferred staying in the bush with Stumbles rather than strolling with the lovely Tim, hard to believe!  GM Love Canal managed to keep us all moving on trail and with the hares incredible calculation of the trail length and weather, the sky dumped rain just in time for us to take the boat back across the water to the on in, and that only after I had foolishly held the boat with all sitting in the rain while I searched for Nid (who had already auto hashed back to the dock) and as we sat in the rain, was enjoying the snacks back at the Port!

Finally on home, Dang met us with beer and incredible snacks as always. Soon the circle was called, the hares were rewarded for their efforts. Virgin hashers Joao, Jum, and Per were indoctrinated into the art of beer drinking.  Visitors Bam Bam, Duke of Puke, and the late off trail Urine were recognized.  We also took time to honor Johnny Cash, the well preserved Mike drinking in his stead.  Som and Kim were honored for their women in black fashion statement.  Mini constantly disrupted the circle, and was noted for his Captain Eric imitation. Can't someone give him a shirt!!!! Private parties abounded, where is the control? Violations were numerous - the most notable nominated for the Prick of the Week: Allistar for exposing his crack for one; Norriega nominated the poor young virgin Jum for something trivial in a pathetic attempt to gain female attention, and Finn was noted for taking a dump in the woods and upsetting the ecological balance of Thailand; but none could out do visiting hasher Duke of Puke who was soon adorned in a size he was unused to!  One serious matter was attended to; the naming of the lovely Jenny of Forest Gump fame. Somehow the RA came up with the name of Ant Hills (I think) for the lovely lass, had something to do with him fiddling in her bra the week before when she was attacked by red ants.  I personally waited in vain hoping in a strange alliance, the mug of the Aloha Hash GM in Hawaii, procured at a recent Nontaburi Hash, would show up at the Monday Hash where I could reprocure it to save my ass back home - alas it was not to be and sadly for me, the circle was dismissed and we all moved onto the On On On.

Only about 10 of the 23 who reserved dinner showed up; most notably absent were Noriega and the visiting hashers who must have gotten lost from the circle to the On On On. Those who did not show missed an incredible meal arranged for and then as a surprise made available free of charge by the hares!  Sometimes the smallest on on ons are the best.  Another special night in Bangkok soon came to an end as we stumbled
into the night. On on and back to my fate in Hawaii.
