From downtown, exit the 2nd Stage Expressway at Rama VI Road.

Turn left (north) at the bottom of the ramp on Rama VI. Go 600m north to the Pradipat Road intersection.

From the north, exit the 2nd Stage Expressway at Rama VI Road, turn right at the bottom of the ramp and go north for 1.2km to the Pradipat Road intersection.

At the Pradipat Road intersection (traffic lights) turn left.

After 300m, cross the railway tracks, and at the traffic lights, turn right (north) on Tert Damri Road (เทอดดำริห์), driving now parallel to the tracks.

After a kilometre you’ll pass the Bang Sue train station on your right and the MRT station on your left.

At the 3-way intersection at the Bang Sue stations, manoeuvre left and then right onto Rot Fai 1 Road (ถนนรถไฟ 1). (If there's a cop directing traffic, keep to the left and turn left at the MRT station, drive 300m to the end of this road, make the U-turn under the Rama 5 Road ramp, return past the Siam Cement Company entrance, and turn left on Rot Fai 1 Road to go to Baan Makham.)

Continue driving north on Rot Fai 1 Road for 400m, still parallel to the tracks, passing the car park for the Bang Sue station on your right.

The dirt (rubble) drive into the Baan Makham restaurant is on the right as the road starts to curve to the left.

Enter the drive and park anywhere near the restaurant. (The SRT has torn down a house and removed a tree, so there is ample parking space.)
