Misdirections to the run

Get the train to Victory Monument and walk along the concourse towards the monument.

Go down to street level using the stairs to the left (towards the hospital).

Board bus No 14. The end of the line is the run site.

Or get a taxi and ask for Ta Nam Si Yaan (ท่าน้ำศรีย่าน). That's Payap Pier at the end of Nakhon Chaisi Road (ถนนนครไชยศรี).

Allow about 45 minutes by bus or taxi.

By River Boat (more info)

Go to any Chao Phraya Express Boat pier that shows an orange flag.
Take an orange-flag boat to the Payap Pier (N18). (ท่าเรือพายัพ) The cost is B15 or less.

Disembark and walk about 20m to the run site - i.e. the beer wagon.

If you start at the Taksin Bridge pier the ride up river should take less than an hour.

By Car/Taxi (more info)

Take the Second Stage Expressway and exit at Rama 6 Road.

If coming from the north, turn left at the bottom of the ramp. Go down Rama 6 Road to the next traffic lights at the Nakhon Chaisi three-way intersection.

If coming from the city (from the south), turn right at the bottom of the ramp and go to the third traffic lights, to the Nakhon Chaisi three-way intersection.

Turn right onto Nakhon Chaisi Road (ถนนนครไชยศรี) toward Ratchawat (ราชวัดร).

Follow Nakhon Chaisi Road through Ratchawat and pass the Si Yaan intersection. Go nearly all the way to the road’s dead end at the river.

Park on the side of the street near the pier.

There is congestion on the roads in this area so leave plenty of time.
