Misdirections to the run |
There are many ways to get to the run, and the routes shown below are just examples. Look at the location map to decide on the best way for you. For more about public transport in Bangkok click here.
All distances shown are approximate.
Take the train to Victory Monument.
Walk on the platform toward the monument, keep left, walk down the stairs to the street, and board bus 14.
Leave the bus at the second bus stop after crossing the railway tracks. That is in front of the Excise Department.
Walk to the market's car park entrance (opposite a 7-11) and turn left (HHH sign).
Walk down the ramp to the car park.
Board an orange (B15), yellow, or green flag boat.
Disembark at the Payap Pier (No. 18).
Walk 500m to the first (Sri Yaan) intersection, and board bus 14, the first bus in line.
Go three intersections (1.6km), and leave the bus at the stop at the 7/11 across the street from the market. (The bus will let you off anywhere you push the red button.)
Cross the street and walk to the market's car park entrance.
From the city, take the 2nd Stage (Sirat) Expressway to the Rama VI exit.
At the end of the off ramp turn right onto Rama VI Road.
Go south 1.5km to the 3-way intersection (traffic lights) and turn right onto Nakon Chaisi Road (ถนนนครไชยศรี ตลาดราชวัตร์).
Cross the railway tracks and continue for 1km to the market.
The entrance for the drive down to the car park is on your left (HHH sign) before the market, just after the Excise Department building.
From the north, take the 2nd Stage (Sirat) Expressway to the Rama VI exit. At the end of the off ramp turn left onto Rama VI Road.
Drive 500m to the 3-way intersection and turn right onto Nakon Chaisi Road.
Then follow the diections above.
Park in car park under market (B20/hr) or try to find a parking spot on the street. Good luck!
