Dear MOM,

Nice to see that Khun A had found the perfect spot for the BEER TRUCK- with MALINEE’s usual guidance. A mixed pack of running and walking Hashers & Wine drinkers gathered around and then the moment we’ve all been waiting for, the AOL calls the circle to order. She made an inspirational speech ("Circle up!"), thanked the hare for pinch-hitting, fired the starting gun, and we tore off, Boob-a-loob, a walking point, took the lead with an amazing burst of energy while CiS reaching terminal velocity in about two seconds

It was a humid walk/run evening. One notable is the sole walkers, Booby, catch up with the FRBs who were still struggling at the Big Plus Junction check. 5 mins later Booby broke the check and called On Call! The FRBs simply cruised past him. "I have sorted it out the check and you guys just run past and lead me?" a heartiest compliment from Booby.

Upon arrival at the a-site, FRBs were welcomed back by Malinee, Slum dogs and Tui who were already relaxing in their armchairs and Booby who apparently had arrived 5 minutes later claiming to have completed the full trail… not everyone was convinced! Malinee had arranged for Chinese Mushroom salad to deliver a multitude of their eponymous products and these were washed down with bottles of the Land of Smile’s finest brew

For those who never run the Hash before and bump into this run scribe, the main objective for the run is to work up a thirst. After the Run, the Hashers enjoy a round or two of well- chilled beers where the perpetrators of noteworthy misdeeds are recognised (this is known as the "Circle").

The circle started as usual, with an assessment of the trail... Shit trail, some said; not enough beer stops, others shouted... all in all, another successful trail for the BMH3. The Hares (Tickler The Great)was of course the first to be recognised: for a shitty (great) trail.

Then returnees were called in the circle. A big crowd gathered in the middle (as you will see in the run photos) Some of them were out of the capital (Cod Pieces & Malinee) while others, Tui & Bugs didn’t have any valid excuse. The Prick of The Week went to Lecherous

The evening is completed with a scrumptious dinner party (known as the "On On On") held at a venue that is also chosen by the Hare, where more beers are drunk and drunk is how most people end up. Three or four long tables had been set up and there was food aplenty for all of the assembled Hashers. The beer kept flowing as did tots of various alcoholic beverages of around Thailand, Hashers were very happy.

The hare was at his generous best providing a couple of bottles of Black Cock and paying for the meal ...a fine performance all round from the hare!
