Run 2044, 27 February 2023
Location: Chonnabot 3, Jamaica Park
Hare: Nibbles

Run 2044 was set by the hare Malinee (Nibbles) from the Jamaica Park over on the east side of town. There were 14 runners assembled that all watched as Crash arrived late and made an embarrassing 5-point turn to park. Had Crash been there earlier she would have had to negotiate all the workers digging up the car park and making a real racket.

The usual suspects to mention a few: Maverick, Boob-a-Lube, Spinning Dwarf, Cap’n Erik, Tim, Sizzler, Svend of the Brenda Splat duo, "Clueless Ed" (aka Checkless), Lurch, The Tickler and a couple of new (old) faces: Diarrhoea and Hot Mix. Talk about making a sacrifice for Hashing: Hot Mix had spent 3 hours getting to the Hash from the West Side of town with the Blue Line, the Purple Line, the Airport Link then a Taxi ride. The Brief: the hare gave Boob-a-lube explanation of how to open a gate and then close it…without locking it KC asked and can we all have a key to the gate. At the start Checkless suggested that Boob-a-lube needed a "Enema" with a barrel and tubes left over by the car park workers – it was declined with a smile by KC.

The trail was 8.69 km according to Diarrhoea – or 10.69 km according to Boob-a-Lube who did 3 False Trails ("FT’s") apparently – or was it the same "FT" 3 times? The pack all arrived back in just around 1 hour-well done to Miss Nibbles for keeping the pack together so well. "Numb Nuts" on that bike was seen "Lurching" around. There were quite a few checks and even a defective FT to nowhere.

The circle: Diarrhoea was exposed for a starting salutary fart for the GM. Spinning Dwarf gave a diatribe regarding being verbally assaulted by a man on a motorcycle who threated to set the dogs on him. I thought there no dogs on this trail-according to Nibbles anyway. KC did the RA thing and surprisingly no solid nominations for visitor-what a surprise! Nominations for Prick-of-the-Week were close: Maverick got a nomination for screwing up the BMH3 Web Site (again). However, Ibo Ibo got the Prick of the Week for "dissing" the GM – what a prick.

The On-On was at Jamaica Park: wonderful setting and thanks Malinee for a great food and beer that was subsidized.
