Another Monday, another run, but this one was different…the GM returned in true GM style, last! Until Tinker turned up after the GM and tried to take her title, but no one really noticed as most were in awe at the GM’s most welcomed appearance just 5 hours after landing into Thailand.

Alas, 5:30 (and it was 5:30 according to the GM so who were we to argue) arrives and of course KC jumps at the chance to be an FRB for the first hundred metres. But with Gringo and Codpiece on his tail it doesn’t last long. The first check was a challenge for our challenged Hashers, so while everyone was gallivanting around, Joylide took the opportunity to recruit a very young future Hasher. For legal reasons, I have no more comments to make on this matter.

An excellent run as agreed by all at the circle, in and out of sois, an obligatory khlong, and confused bystanders. After a perfectly estimated distance of 6.5km, Hashers return and thank the hare, Crash and co hare, Nibbles for *ahem* their trail. A few more down downs were handed out and our RA for the night, 4x2 opened nominations for POTW. Two strong nominations for Anacuntman and Domestic Violence. There were arguments over chaffing, vaseline, and McDonald’s but eventually it was voted that Anacuntman was to blame and so his punishment was administered.

Throughout all this, the usual restaurant had been closed and there were no signs of it opening up for us. Luckily the hares had found a restaurant adjacent and the merriment continued. An abundance of beer and food was presented, so much food that there were even doggy bags to take home. One marked change from the usual Hash table this evening was wine outnumbering beer! Even a beer enthusiast was choosing whiskey over the bubbles! Ah well, an excellent trail and an amazing on on on. On on!
