In a festive twist to their regular Hashing escapades, the Hash House Harriers embarked on a Christmas run orchestrated by the hare of the day, Virginia Slim. The air was filled with holiday cheer as every Hasher donned a Santa hat, turning the streets into a merry procession of red and white. Nibbles went one further and fashioned an entire elf costume. Merry Christmas gents!

Virginia Slim, taking the spirit of giving to heart, distributed candies to be shared with the children encountered along the run. Ringing alarm bells for most of the Hashers, not sure what to make of this questionable activity. Nonetheless, many took the candy and found young healthy bodies to contaminate with the sugary goodness. Boobalube emerged as the unsung hero, skilfully marking the trail with a plethora of arrows, ensuring that everyone stayed on the right path, but of course that's not quite how it went... The rest of the Hashers found themselves befuddled not once, but twice, losing their way amidst the festivities.

Despite the minor setbacks, the holiday spirit prevailed, and the Hashers pressed on. Navigating the urban terrain, the Hashers encountered a peculiar situation – two trains approaching as they walked down the train tracks. Miraculously, no mishaps occurred, and the Hashers safely made their way through the railway adventure. Further obstacles awaited the intrepid group as they confronted a ditch. Displaying true Hasher camaraderie, two Hashers stepped up to assist the old and feeble, ensuring everyone conquered the hurdle and continued the run undeterred.

Post-run celebrations kicked off with the quintessential pairing of rum and eggnog, warming the Hashers from the inside out. The festivities continued at Virginia Slim's condo for the "on on on," where a Christmas feast awaited. The spread featured turkey, potatoes, stuffing, and a standout delicacy – Black Cock Balls, sweet rum-infused delights that added a flavorful twist to the celebration. The abundance of beer flowed freely, and the air echoed with laughter and merriment, creating lasting memories for a joyous Hash House Harriers Christmas.
