Hare:- Drunken Donut and Sexy Lashes

For those of you who are curious, the A and B for this trail stood for "Awesome" and "Brilliant!" Following the directive of the BMH3 website, 15-20 Hashers congregated for Drunkin Donut and Sexy Lash’s China Town tour. Fortunately, among the attendees was new comer Mia Noi who brought the average age of the Hash to a youthful 68. When it came to pass the 15th minute of 17th hour of this Monday, we were given vague instructions regarding the trail and the pack was off like a flash.

FRB’s Prickly Bird and The Nigerian quickly lead the way into our first metro station. The cool transit station air chilled our bones and cooled us off for what was to be an incandescence trek. We emerged from the station only to find the pack had already reduced in numbers, Pork Finder and Tinker and Nibbles were nowhere to be found. Regardless, the pack pressed on, winding their way through the small alleys of Chinatown and through merchant markets.

On occasion, some Bangkok H3 clubs become confused while solving a check but this was no ordinary H3 pack! Among the ranks that day near the front of the group where veterans COD Piece and Hazukashi. Checks were solved faster than green grass through a goose. On On’s echoed through the streets as we tore through the alleys and roads. Hash Flash Gung capturing every moment of the great pursuit. Around 5km Tokoroten snared the hares, but wait! This wasn’t a live trail! The pack granted the slow poke Hares a 5 min buffer before continuing the trail. Down more winding walkways and through a few more markets, the Hash found themselves at the second subterranean train stations. This proved to be the most difficult portion of the trail due to marking allowance by the MRT authorities. Alas, the pack made it up and out and within another 1.5km found themselves at the On In!

It was made clear that the On After had been a popular previous location due to Booba Lubes usual post run validation "I knew it was here, I knew it was here, I knew this is where we were going." Behind him hauling anchor was Spinning Dwarf, Bullet and Mia Noi. Mia Noi, the youngster walking? Kids these days, I tell ya! After everyone grabbed a snack and some beer, Maverick instructed the club to circle. The club praised the Hares for their brilliant run and a few charges were distributed to other members. It was a short uneventful circle which many of us have come to enjoy. However, during the POW voting process, one of the nominees made a comment regarding the RA’s hearing abilities and immediately voting was closed and the POW was announced! Prick of the Week goes to AB Normal, nominated for donning a pair of fancy shoes at the Hash. Out of defiance, The Prick refused to drink the steel, so another Hasher had to step in as an understudy and complete the ceremony.

The pack concluded the evening as usual, sitting around the table at the On After, enjoying food, drinks and laughs. Wait! Has anyone seen Tickler?
