The A-site was in the Bang Sue area but not at the usual venue and definitely not at the pin-drop on the website! 45 minutes prior to the run start only 5 Hashers arrived; however, at 17:15 hrs the pack had grown to 16.

The hare Pinkpanther and co-hare Porkfinder laid out a very confusing set of instructions that included lame excuses for having an inconsistent combination of trail marks made up of pink paper, white paper, flour, and pink chalk.

Just metres from the start Comes In Spurts was stopping at every food cart making orders without money to pay. I hastened away from that scene but some good soul did manage to bail him out.

Front runners Horney Viking and Limp Shrimp were already on the khlong pathway at least 200 m in front of the mid-pack hounds Bullit, Splat and Maverick who were quickly closing in. After 300 m along the khlong it was back onto the city concrete and the Bang Sue wet market. Ambrose and Tinker being particularly infatuated with the market spent an unusual time period off-trail in that complex, and yet they came out with nothing!

About 2 km into the trail I crossed paths with Noriega and Buckleys heading across Prachuen Road where there were absolutely no trails but they seemed unusually happy, obviously knowing something that we didn’t about the "short-time" accommodations in Bang Sue.

Others spotted well off trail were Spinning Dwarf disappearing into Lotus’s returning without any merchandise and Boob-a-Loob walking in circles and cursing some invisible person.

Finally arriving back at the A-site at 6.0 km elapsed distance, I spotted Nibbles. She moves really fast for someone recovering from a broken toe. But the truth is she did not even do 1 cm of trail. Usually being dead last in the pack I was definitely not accustomed to having the circle delayed to wait for others to return. It took another 30 minutes for Buckleys and Noriega to return from their short-time retreat before the circle could commence.

GM Maverick brought the circle to order. Hares Pinkpanther and Porkfinder were 1st up as the hounds were quizzed as to the quality of the trail and the consensus was "well done"! Visitors were then brought in but nobody gave a shit as to why they have been absent. Then new boot Kamakazi "Chemical" Ali was introduced. Good to have a terrorist to keep Noriega company in the BMH3. RA Tinker took over the circle and soon called time for prick-of-the-week. Comes in Spurts won the award for his shopping stunt at the beginning of the run.

The circle closed and we moved to the on-after where the food had been on the table for nearly two hours but I was hungry so I ate it. The beer was cold so I drank it. Then it was a 1 km walk to Bang Sue MRT and home. Good job hares, on-on!
