As many runners were out of town
A small pack watched the sun go down
Running here, there and back
Finishing on a railway track

The on-in caused some debate
As the marking weren't all that great
Some said it went left - perfectly clear
Others didn't see, so ran back to the beer

Maverick now an old has-been
Duties gone from his weekly routine
back down to earth from that dizzy height
he can concentrate now on our website

We thank him for his efforts but now he's gone
Fear not - the Spinning Dwarf will carry on....
