Run:- 2158, 5 May 2025
Location:- Huay Kwang, Amaranta Condo
Hare:- Turtlehead

It was a short four-stop trip from Sukhumvit MRT to Huay Kwang MRT but we seem to have entered a whole new country with Chinese script written on many of the shops and restaurants. In the designated parking lot there were four or five coolers full of cans of American craft beer, Thai craft beer, vodka sodas and zero alcohol beer. The hare encouraged us to get started drinking before the run. Beside Turtlehead there was a drove (or husk, or warren) of co-hares; Eetan, Incomplete Erection, and Aunties Bitch. We were told to expect two beer stops on the trail. In the BMH3 Facebook group there is a funky 3D photo of the happy (or inebriated) Hashers starting off on the run.

So for this Hash drinking took priority over running. There was a lot of street running but the beer stops more than made up for the hard surface. Before the first beer stop, The Nigerian, who was leading the pack, turned around and started running in the other direction. He had "yipped out" on traversing the 2m long and 40cm wide solid concrete strut that crossed an urban khlong.

Thirsty Hashers much enjoyed the refreshing draft craft at beer stop #1 and once almost everyone had arrived, no Nigerian, we set off for beer stop number two which was not too far away. Rinse and repeat and then back to the trail to the start/finish line.

After quaffing more cans of craft beer, the circle was called and the usual down downs were given to returners, visitors and prick of the week.

Good to see Ming Not Tonight back and returner Tis brought her virgin friend Danielle. PotW went to appropriately named Canadian visitor Peniscillin.

Dinner was held in a large private room in a nearby hotel. Good food and plenty of wine, craft beer and Jack Daniels was shared by all. Then we headed up to the rooftop for more late night drinking and merriment. Well done Turtlehead, one of the more unique and memorable Hashes in a long time. Thank you and on on!
