Run: 1958, 21 December 2020
Location: Onnut Soi 37
Hares: Sizzler and Nibbles

Stats: 12 Harriers, 5 Harriettes, 0 new boots and 0 visitors, total 17. Returners included Kim “Normal”, Peter “Maverick”, and George “of the Jungle”. Congrats to Malinee “Nibbles” on receiving her 600th run mug.

The wonderful winter weather would welcome Hashers to the familiar non-virgin run site at Onnut 37. Some including No No and Spinning Dwarf arrived via the nine baht songthaew from Sukhumvit. Maverick was freshly freed from his two-week quarantine and glad to be back galloping in the Land of Smiles. Others, namely George of the Jungle and The Tickler, arrived after the 5:15 pm start time. Capt’n Erik suggested we should all wear masks to protect us from the Covid outbreak ravaging through Thailand but not many followed his advice.

Oddly enough, the run seemed to be a carbon copy of the last BMH3 run in the area set by Nibbles a few months before, a counter-clockwise circuit following along the khlong past Srinakarin Road before crossing the canal and heading back towards home. The check at the bridge crossing the khlong was tough enough to let some of the pack catch up with the FRBs, Gringo, CoDpiece and Checkless. Recrossing the big khlong at the wat not far from the start, the full trail was around 7kms.

Pre-circle beers were enjoyed along with a delectable meat curry courtesy of Normal. Hash Cash tried to collect the run fee from George but he claimed to have forgotten his wallet at home and could not transfer cash via his phone app. At the circle, Sizzler was congratulated for her excellent trail. Returners George, Kim and Peter were welcomed back.

4x2 was brought in and accused of being a shit collector by his lovely wife Eat Me. Nibbles received her 600th run mug and a special mug award was presented to our Hash Piss Khun A for a job well done for the last 232 BMH3 runs. Prick of the Week was won easily by our Thai financial guru George of the Jungle for being skint. There was a good turnout at the restaurant where beer, wine, a sumptuous feast and comradery prevailed and so ended another great run with the Bangkok Monday Hash.
