For JoyLide's run on Monday, 5 June 2023, we had 13 Harriers, 7 Harriettes, 0 new boots and 3 visitors, total 23. Write up

Joylide set the trail down soi 8, through the Evangelica church and into the lovely Bengakiti Forest park. The question was which way round, clock or anti clockwise. The first check sorted that out, it was anti clockwise, but then changed to clockwise to fool us. The park has been spruced up especially for us and the the Rottweiler security guards sent away on holiday. A great relief as they can be difficult.

Miljo slut (ricewine drinking sex tourist) leaving to Taiwan the next day. His name comes from drinking the local moonshine with aboriginal tribes on the mountains of Taiwan, and making off into the villages with the native girls. He will be setting trails on Taiwan with Kevin 'Roger me' and Woody the coming weekend. It seems Kevin and Woody will be coming back to Bangkok in November as the Taiwan winters are horribly cold and their house has no heating.

Booby scuttles along this trail every day so he headed off on his own. The rest of the pack followed chalk and paper through the winding paths, past the old tobacco leaf drying sheds and over to the west gate. Would it be up onto the overhead walkway to lumpini? No we were not going that far. It was back into the park and up onto the grassland. Visitor hand cream was way up front. Bushman and Su not far behind. Sven father Joseph as Hash flash took in the spread of runners and with the lovely mother Mary, (welcome back and come again) took well planned short cuts to take shots of Bmh3 Hashers in action. Gringo as one of the FRBs took time out to skip between the flower beds sampling the sweet aromas and staring at the bright colours, very strange behaviour! There was no avoiding the GM as she was wearing her father's army boots and could be heard clumping along from 1000m away, Hashers jumping into the mud and shiggy to avoid being trampled underfoot by her as she steamed by screaming.

Turd burger told and retold his tale of heat exhaustion and collapse on a pedestrian overpass last Friday after the full moon hhh in the loving arms of a beggar who gave him 20 baht to get home. Turdy was here on holiday and started to complain that each morning when he woke up there was nothing to do. Well he was told, welcome to the world of retirees in Bangkok. It was suggested that he: a) relax and pretend to be on holiday, b) drink more beer, c) join booby on his morning and afternoon walks, d) delay waking up until noontime or later, e) be the hare for every Hash until he leaves, f) do the write ups for all the Hashes, g) sign up for every health check program at the Bangkok hospital. H) join ladyboy on his evening wild life hunting expeditions. That should keep him happy.

Out of the park onto rama 4 road heading west, across the expressway then into the tight sois and market of Pluk Chit. Past the Polo club and onto to a fantastic beer stop at the IPA bar famous for supporting ladyboy and others during Covid lockdown, organised by the co hare tickler.

Grannies Tits showed up late complete with his onset of pregnancy. Or rather a 9kg balloon of a tummy. Too much cheap wine and lovely steak meals in California. He was quite distraught as he tried to do his usual cycle trail to visit his pet granny who sits waiting for him on the klong path beer stop, only he could not do more than 2km before becoming puffed out and had trouble balancing the bicycle with his unusual off centre load.
