Hare:- George of the Jungle

Our Joint Master was stand in GM for the evening. Boob a Lube was busy at the start of the run telling visitors that the run would either be a clockwise square or an anticlockwise square. 4x2 called for 'gentlemen, form a circle' to get the hare, George of the Jungle's briefing. 'What about the women'? asked The Nigerian. The JM explained that 'The' Bangkok Monday Hash was indeed a male Hash, to which women were invited. We could see the Nigerian's brain ticking over as he thought about the options of a new Sabai Monday Hash that was more 'modern and forward thinking'.

The trail started down Srinakarin Road. Srinakarin Road, one of Bangkok's biggest thoroughfares, at rush hour. When will it end? Hashers asked. At the klong of course, and we started on what KC predicted to be the George of the Jungle square. How wrong he was. The run went all over the place, klongs, side streets, more klongs, nothing like a square. The pack fizzled out and left only Splat, 4x2, The Nigerian, Boob a Lube and two visitors out there on the trail that finished at Srinakarin Soi 38 MRT Yellow Line Monorail. A quick one stop took the runners back to the A site.

Circle offences included the visitors, who pulled paper out of poles and missed obvious checks. The Hare was compared to Nibbles. When Nibbles organises a train for the Hash, it's for 150 Hashers, all the way to Ubon Ratchathani with hundreds of litres of beer and piles of food. When George organises a train for the Hash it's one stop on the MRT Monorail Yellow Line. Senator lead the call for POTW with only one contender - Tinker, for an unforgettable reason.
